Getting ready for 2019 Edition of California Spring Trials

This is a yearly special horticultural event that serving as a début arena for some of the newest plant varieties. It gathers plant professionals and enthusiasts of the industry at various facilities for a week.

If you have read our blog, you might know by now about events we participate. One of them is the California Spring Trials (CST) a weeklong event which is held at the same time at several locations throughout the state. At the CST, prominent breeders, growers, educators, brokers, marketing professionals, and other plant enthusiasts from different countries around the world congregate to review new annual, perennial, ornamental, grass, and vegetable introductions.

This is an exceptional horticultural activity, where some of the newest plant varieties are a launched; along with signage, packaging products, and merchandising programs. At the California Spring Trials, you’ll also find many locations integrate PGR experiments, outdoor trialing, and technical priceless information for the industry. Meet with industry peers at this annual experience organized, developed, and executed by the American Hort.

New varieties throughout the world are tested and experimented in the CST. This year will take place on March 23 – 27. If you are interested in visiting any of the locations, we recommend that you make reservations in advance (at some locations this is mandatory).
